"How old are you going to be?" She puts up her 2 lil' fingers and says, "Two, Dos!"

Yep, my daughter Ava-Sol turns 2, on Thursday. Oh, how time flies! LOL! ...And as much as I wanted to take her to "Sesame Place" for her birthday, it's not open in the Fall on weekdays so instead we're taking her to "LegoLand".

With my parents' recent visit to Vermont, grandpa spoilt her by buying tons of toys. One of those toys is this '"Elmo Says" Spin Chair' $39.99 from Toy R Us.

July 4th - What a Difference A Year Makes!

This was my daughter, Ava-Sol last year for Fourth of July 2007 Fireworks, Downtown Burlington, Vermont on Lake Champlain.

This is a picture and video of her from this year's 2008 celebration, Maple Street Park, Essex Junction, Vermont. She can't be seen, except for the neon necklace around her neck but she can certainly be heard, saying "WOW", "Nice" & "Bye Guys, See You". LOL! Too funny!

My daughter has been a lil' swimmer from 3 months old. I posted about the perfect float back then, 'For Baby ... Baby Spring Float'.

Here's what going to the beach now looks like. We have to constantly hold her. She does not like stones beneath her feet.

Airports, Planes & Baby and A HAPPY MOMMY!

My friend, Shawnny was so nervous to travel with Baby Alexis this holiday season. So despite being on holiday, in St.Lucia already ... I knew I had to post my travelling with baby suggestions, found here in Airports, Planes & Baby.

Hey, by the way, thanks for the advice ... it was priceless - flying was smooth sailing! When we landed in Florida, the woman sitting in front of us turned and exclaimed, "Excellent baby!!!" She said when she saw us she went "Oh no!" She said she always gets stuck next to crying kids on flights and that this was the first time she had not had that problem :-) My baby is a jetsetter!!! Oohoo! She even got her wings from the airline!!!
