I was in St.Lucia, on July 28 when Project Runway Season 9 started (Episode 1 - Come As You Are).  I tuned in to support one of our own Caribbean designers, Anya Ayoung Chee from Maraval, Trinidad & Tobago and a former Miss Trinidad & Tobago Universe 2008.

'Though I missed last Thursday's show (Episode 2 - My Pet Project) 'cause I was on a flight returning home to Virginia, *fingers crossed* ... let's hope Anya is still on tonight's show.  

Anya in Episode 1, admitted to not knowing how to sew and never even sewed a pair of pants ever.  Anyway Heidi and the judges loved Anya's first attempt at a pair of trousers.
