Ronald 'Boo' Hinkson ft. Stacey Iman Charles - Work My Body Official Video

Uncle Boo ... like one of my favorite older people, and there aren't many!

"Ronald "Boo" Hinkson is a Saint Lucian musician, jazz guitarist, producer, arranger, composer and performer. His mother was taught him to play the guitar. In the 1960s, he formed the Tru Tones  with his brothers and friends. The group had a following much like the Beatles in the UK in their time. The group recorded its first album in the 70s. The group recorded a total of five albums and six singles including, "Burning Eyes," "Hungry Belly," and a remake of Hot Chocolates "Sexy Thing."

When the band split, Hinkson continued as a solo artiste, leaning towards Jazz music. 'Alive and Well' was his first solo CD, released in 1995. He has written reggae, calypso, soca, R&B and blues songs, for himself and others. One of his reggae songs made it on the British reggae charts in 1998.

Among countries he has toured extensively are: Germany, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. He frequently appears at the Saint Lucia Jazz Festival and other Caribbean Jazz Festivals. Hinkson has opened for guitar greats such as George Benson and Kenny Burell.

  1. Work My Body is a really great track, mainstream worthy, I can hear Rihanna singing that, the video was a lil underwhelming though, the shots/scenes were ok but the styling was seriously lacking, my thing is being on a budget doesn't mean you can't be impactful.
