GCB - Good Christian Bitches

What used to be the most boring tv night, Sunday nights, has turned into the most electric. Nowadays, I'm so confused by what to watch exactly that I'm forced to DVR (digital video record). Hey, I don't want to miss the drama(s). LOL! 'Though I am quite the reality tv fanatic, I've finally found a network show that has the potential to become a commitment,  GCB ... Good Christian Bitches!

The show reminded me of island life which I too agree with a family member's description is 'the fish bowl existence,' having grown up on the small Caribbean island of St.Lucia. Basically, everyone observes and talks about everyone else's business but their own. As if that were not enough, add a touch of religious - Christian "we're holier than thou" neuroses and that makes GCB even more appealing! As for Texas, I have the bucket list desire to visit so as to ride a mechanical bull and chow down on Texan bbq ribs, the type I see on The Food Channel.

When former mean girl Amanda Vaughn (Leslie Bibb) moves back to Dallas 18 years after high school, former unpopular teen-turned-diva-of-Dallas Carlene Cockburn (Emmy and Tony Award-Winner Kristin Chenoweth) gets a major dose of PTSD. To top it off, Amanda’s living across the street from the Cockburns with her feisty mother Gigi Stopper (Emmy Award-Nominee Annie Potts)! Amanda has changed for the morally better but Carlene and her other victims -- the GCBs -- have their doubts. The GCBs now rule the school that is Dallas society and are about to settle the score with Amanda Vaughn. -

"YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW!"
... That's Texan for KARMA
