Hour of Power - Dr. Robert Schuller

Ahhh Sunday morning, I heard the church bells ring!  Yep, in Vermont I live 2 houses away from a church.  Remember Vermont, I best describe as "Andy Griffith Show - Mayberry meets Little House on a Prairie."

Shamefully, I have never entered the lil' church on my road.  ... And since I'm soon to leave, I wonder if I'll ever see the inside just once.  I don't feel too bad though, 'cause I do get some religion and spirituality in my life with the Crystal Cathedral's  televised broadcast of "Hour of Power"

In St.Lucia, I recall the televised broadcast of "Hour of Power" on BET (if I'm not mistaken). When I left home at 18 for college, I needed guidance and followed the religious telecast. I even got a vase from them once, with the words "Bloom where you are planted" scripted on it. ... And when I'm low, Hour of Power picks me up ... it always seems to speak volumes to me.  Since I have faith in my relationship with the broadcast, I have told numerous friends about it.  ... And I love the religious broadcast because of the televangelist and pastor, Dr.Schuller.  I could hear my brother argue, "Joel Osteen."  That's another televangelist, my brother finds him inspiring!

"Robert Harold Schuller, (born September 16, 1926) is the American televangelist, pastor, and author known around the world through his weekly Hour of Power television broadcast. He is the founder of the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California, where the Hour of Power program originates.

Strongly influenced by his mentor, Norman Vincent Peale, Schuller has focused in his teaching on the positive aspects of what he presents as Christianity. He deliberately avoids condemning people for sin, and he encourages Christians (and non-Christians) to achieve great things through God, uplifting theology and positive thinking."(Source Wikipedia)
