Send Your Skittles For Trayvon Martin!

Trayvon Martin, 17, was gunned down walking home from the store after purchasing Skittles and Iced-Tea by a self-appointed neighborhood watchman who deemed him as suspicious. George Zimmerman, called the police 47 times before encountering an unarmed Trayvon, African American, who at the was wearing a hoodie. Zimmerman’s 911 call was released to the public, where you can hear him being told to not “pursue” Martin. He calls the teen a “coon” and explains that he was looking at the homes of residences in the neighborhood with no apparent reason. Zimmerman claimed that there have been robberies in the vicinity. The call ended with a seemingly calm Zimmerman but we know different.
trayvon_martin_zimmermanTrayvon phoned a friend moments before his death. He told her, that someone was watching him and he thought he had lost him. The young woman instructed him to ‘run.’ She was the last person to whom he spoke.

Zimmerman, who is an unlicensed gun-holder has yet to be arrested on the premise that Florida has a strong self-defense gun law– “Stand Your Ground,” which states:
“A person who is attacked in any place they have a right to be “has no duty to retreat” and “has the right to stand his or her ground and meet force with force, including deadly force” when a person “reasonably believes it is necessary to do so to prevent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the commission of a forcible felony.”
With Zimmerman still free, roaming the streets of Florida, a call to action is necessary! Join us in sending Skittle packages to the Chief Of Police until they feel compelled to seek Zimmerman for the racist crime he committed!
